Board of Directors

Udhay Mathialagan
Chair
Udhay Mathialagan is a Managing Director in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group, responsible for investments in data infrastructure in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Brookfield in 2018, Udhay was the Chief Executive Officer of a global telecom portfolio management company in Singapore. Previously, he held senior roles at Macquarie Capital and Crown Castle in Sydney, Australia. He also founded and led Insight Infrastructure, an Asia-focussed telecom tower company that was acquired by American Tower. Udhay holds a Master of Business Administration from Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, the Netherlands.
Jonathon Sellar
Jonathon Sellar is a Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer for Australia in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group, responsible for the asset management function in Australia. Jonathon joined Brookfield in 2010, following Brookfield’s acquisition of the Australian-listed company, Prime Infrastructure, where he served as the Chief Financial Officer since 2002. Previously, he held senior roles at InterGen Australia and at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Jonathon holds a Bachelor of Business (Accountancy) from the Queensland University of Technology and has been a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia since 1996.
Felix Chan
Felix Chan is a Senior Vice President in Brookfield’s Infrastructure Group, responsible for portfolio management of data infrastructure assets in Asia Pacific. Prior to joining Brookfield, Felix held roles as Chief Financial Officer at Tarantula Global, General Manager Commercial Development and Alliances at NBN Co Limited and was the Chief Financial Officer and Co-Founder at Insight Infrastructure. Felix holds a Master of Commerce and Bachelor of Economics from Macquarie University in Sydney, Australia and is a member of CPA Australia.

Management Team

Malcolm Roe
Chief Executive Officer
Malcolm is responsible for the leadership, direction, and performance of DCI’s business. Malcolm is an experienced data centre executive, having established Metronode as a leading Australian data centre services provider. Prior to joining DCI, he was Vocus Group’s Head of Strategic Projects. He subsequently cofounded Open Edge dc, an edge computing start-up whose activities have now been absorbed into DCI.
Diana McFarlane
Chief Financial Officer
Diana is responsible for the accounting and reporting, tax, treasury, finance, shared services and internal controls for DCI’s portfolio. She has more than 15 years’ experience across the banking, infrastructure and integrated logistics sectors, and has worked in a variety of senior finance roles with businesses such as Credit Suisse, Qube Holdings and Moelis Australia.
Richard Burley
Chief Commercial Officer, ANZ
Richard is responsible for the sales and commercial management of DCI’s business. He has worked for challenger businesses in the finance, energy and telecommunications sectors. He has held a variety of ownership, advisory and executive roles in data infrastructure related businesses. Prior to joining DCI, Richard was an Executive General Manager, responsible for the Defence & Government business of Nextgen Networks which was acquired by ASX-listed Vocus Group.
Verghese Jacob
Chief Technology Officer
Verghese is responsible for the technology strategy, direction and project delivery for DCI. He has extensive experience managing all aspects of data centre project development across Asia Pacific, including corporate safety and environment, business unit risk management, carrier facilities access, building services design and construction. He established his own company, FMevolution in 2007, where he continued to program and project manage the delivery of world-leading designed data centres for clients such as Woolworths, Pacnet (now Telstra), DXC.technology, Metronode (now Equinix) and AirTrunk.
Chris Heffernan
Chief Operations Officer
Chris is responsible for managing the teams that deliver operational excellence at DCI’s Australian data centres. He has a strong record in the design, construction, operation and maintenance of complex critical systems infrastructure and provides strategic and technical advice on major facility relocation and data centre projects across Asia and Australia.
Martin Williams
Head of Sales, Australia and New Zealand
Martin is responsible for sales and account management of DCI’s Australian and New Zealand business. He is an experienced sales manager and senior sales executive that is highly customer focused, with a demonstrated track record for leadership and building positive long term relationships with customers and partners alike. Martin has extensive experience in global markets with leading Managed Services providers in United Kingdom, Australia and Middle East with a broad scope of expertise including professional services, cloud hosted and managed solutions, infrastructure and Data Centre sales.
Swati Goyal
Chief Investment Officer, Asia
Swati is responsible for commercial and sales management of DCI’s Asia business. She has more than 10 years’ experience across banking, private equity and data centre sectors, and has worked in a variety of senior investment roles. Prior to joining DCI, Swati Goyal had spent the last five years at ST Telemedia Global Data Centres based out of Singapore, as the Senior Director of Investments, overseeing a data centre platform spanning the Asia Pacific and UK. Previously, she was with Blackstone Real Estate in Singapore and London. Ms Goyal holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore and a Masters Degree in Computer Science, from the Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai
Colin Wyatt
Head of Design and Engineering
Colin leads the design and engineering function across our business, he has over 25 years in the mission critical and data centre sector working in both client side and consultancy roles globally. He started his career in the Nuclear Industry with British Nuclear Fuels so has a passion for high reliability engineering, safety in design and robust quality control systems. Prior to joining the firm Colin was Global Head of Engineering for Data Centre Developer Yondr Group, where he was responsible for the technical development of projects in APAC; EMEA India and the USA. He has also held senior regional technical roles with Goldman Sachs, AECOM and AIG/Lincoln where he led engineering for the Central and Eastern Europe region. An engineer by training Colin holds a master’s degree in Building Services Engineering Management from Heriot Watt University, Scotland and is an active member of professional engineering institutions Engineering New Zealand and the Chartered Institution of Building Services Engineering.
Jae Woo Choi
Deputy Chief Technology Officer
Jae Woo will lead the engineering, design, development and delivery across Asia alongside Chief Technology Officer Verghese Jacob to support DCI’s accelerated growth phase across South Korea, Japan and South East Asia markets. Based in Seoul, Jae Woo holds a Bachelor of Engineering / Electrical Engineering and is a veteran of data centre development with 15 years of leadership experience in data centre engineering and project management. He joins DCI from Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he served as Global Expansion Engineering Manager and was responsible for executing and reviewing designs for data centre projects throughout APAC.
