Swati Goyal joins DCI Data Centers as Chief Commercial Officer, Asia

DCI Data Centers (DCI) today announced the appointment of Swati Goyal as their Chief Commercial Officer in the Asia region.

DCI Chairman and Brookfield Managing Director Udhay Mathialagan said Ms Goyal brings an impressive track record in both scaling and driving data centre market expansion and essential experience across the Asian region. 

“DCI continues to make good progress in developing and deploying highly secure, energy-efficient hyperscale data centres across Asia. This new role and Swati’s appointment strengthens our leadership capability, which in turn will support our strategic growth trajectory in the region. I’m thrilled to welcome Swati to our team,” he said.

Goyal’s role will be to lead the commercial and investment function to support DCI’s strategy to expand into new market opportunities across Asia.

Goyal said she was excited to take on this role at such a dynamic stage of DCIs growth.

With more than 12 years’ experience, Swati Goyal has spent the last five years at ST Telemedia Global Data Centres based out of Singapore, as the Senior Director of Investments, overseeing a data centre platform spanning the Asia Pacific and UK.

Previously, she was with Blackstone Real Estate in Singapore and London.

Ms Goyal holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the Indian Institute of Management in Bangalore and a Masters Degree in Computer Science, from the Indian Institute of Technology Mumbai. Goyal will be based in Singapore and starts 28 February 2022.
