Australian Government recognises DCI Data Centers as ‘Certified Strategic’ provider

DCI Data Centers (DCI) is pleased to announce it has been formally certified by the Australian Government’s Digital Transformation Agency (DTA) as a Certified Strategic hosting provider of data centre services, with the secure enclave in our Sydney facility receiving certification on 1 November.

The ‘Certified Strategic’ designation is the highest level of data centre assurance attainable under the DTA’s Hosting Certification Famework and is only available to data centre providers that satisfy key Government requirements and undertakings.

This is a critically important certification for DCI’s customers and partners who provide services to the Australian public sector. It is an endorsement of DCI to be entrusted with Australia’s sensitive data.

In addition to the Certified Strategic listing, DCI facilities are certified with ISO 9001 (quality management), ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO 22301 (business continuity management), ISO 27001 and SOC 2 credentials (information security), PCI DSS, ISO 45001 credential (occupational health and safety) and ISO 50001 (energy management).

About Digital Transformation Agency’s Hosting Certification Framework:
The Hosting Certification Framework was developed to operationalise the principles outlined in the whole-of-government Hosting Strategy, and to support the secure management of government systems and data. The Framework is designed to help agencies mitigate against whole of supply chain and data centre ownership risks and enable them to identify and source appropriate hosting and related services.
